Today I preached from Isaiah 53 again, verses 10-12. I focused on the first phrase, “It pleased the Lord to crush Him…” Here is a rough outline.

After preaching Col 1:21-22 on being reconciled to God through Jesus Christ, having no fear in judgment since Christ is our presenter before God, and teaching on perseverance from the 1689, I was overwhelmed by this hymn.

Dr. Richard Barcelos is having all the Midwest Center students over to hear Pastor Whitcomb share about his conversion, call to ministry, and church planting efforts. I hope that the Lord will use this in my life to give encouragement and vision for my future in pastoral ministry.

Jude Sermon Overviews
