The Midwest Center for Theological Studies exists to provide ministerial training in the context of a confessional local church. We endeavor to instruct the mind and cultivate the godliness of each student through careful informed scholarship and focused pastoral mentoring.
Highlights of MCTS
Professors: Dr. Sam Waldron, Prof. Richard Barcellos, Dr. Philip Marshall, Dr. Tom Nettles, Dr. Fred Malone, Dr. Tom Ascol, and Dr. Donald Whitney.
Forums: Tabletalk discussion once a month. Elders of Heritage Baptist church, Midwest Center Professors, other experienced pastors, and students sit around an open discussion concerning practical pastoral experiences. Currently we are discussing Heritage Baptist Church’s constitution and the nuts and bolts of its practice.
